Day 1 - Journey to Rovaniemi 🇫🇮 Finland
✈️ Fly Singapore to Finland (1 Stop: 1hr15min Helsinki)

Day 2 (L/D) - 🎅🏼 Santa Claus Village 🎄 Arktikum Centre ✨

Learn about the Arctic wildlife, climate change, the Sami people
Day 3 (B/D) - ❄️ Meet the Reindeer 🦌 Aurora Chase 1 🌌
Meet the friendly Reindeer and their shepherds! 🦌 These iconic animals formed a big part of the Lapland's history, tradition, culture & way of life. In the past, 🦌 Reindeer were key to the survival of the traditional Sami's people lives. ❄️ During winter, Reindeer sleighs were a common mode of transport.
🌲 Enjoy a magical 2km / 30min ride through the beautiful snowy forests. 🦌 As the Reindeer are semi-wild, the shepherds will always be with us and lead the caravan in the front. Thereafter, learn more about how the Reindeer live 🫶🏻 and their key role to the survival of the Sami people in the past, as a source of clothing, tools & livelihood.
In the evening, we'll set out on our first ✅ *ACTIVE* 🌌 Aurora Chase by Car. (~3hr30min) Before the session, our guide will determine the most promising spots to see the Northern Lights based on weather maps, forecasts & charts. ✨
✨ This is an *ACTIVE* Aurora session, meaning:
✅ Use of a vehicle to drive out to less light polluted areas
✅ Route determined by local Finland, specialist Aurora guide
✅ We will drive & stop to check as needed, wait in a promising area if need be, or move on for about 3hrs+.
🤔 HOW TO COMPARE Northern Lights tours?
Check if the Aurora Chases are *ACTIVE* or *NON-ACTIVE*.
🙈 *NON-ACTIVE* Chances usually mean:
x No use of vehicle to drive out of light polluted areas
x Usually not conducted by a local Finland, specialist guide
x Limited to outside your accoms for the night, walking 5-15mins
Day 4 (B/D) - 🐶 Husky Sledding 🌲 Journey to Pyha Luosto ❄️
Experience a thrilling 6km/30min 🐶 Husky Sled ride
Usually 2 people per sleigh (1 passenger, 1 driver)
Switch mid-way so you can experience both driving the sleigh as well as being able to take more photos as a passenger 📸 😁
Please note that most sledding dogs in Lapland are Alaskan huskies 🐶 not Siberian huskies (commonly used in movies with thicker fur). Alaskan huskies look more general / normal than Siberian huskies.
Journey toward Pyha Luosto Park, known for its pine forests. 🌲

Day 5 (B/D) - ❄️ Snowshoe ⛏️ Amethyst Mine 🌌 Aurora Chase 2
❄️ Snowshoe through the 🌲 Taiga forest (2.5km), visit an Amethyst mine, and learn about how Amethysts are formed. In the evening, we'll have our 2nd ✅ *ACTIVE* 🌌 Aurora Chase attempt by Car.
Day 6 (B/D) - ✨ Try Gold Panning ❄️ Ride a Snowmobile!
Head to Tankavaara, known as the gate to Lapland's gold fields, with 150 years of history in ✨ Gold Panning, here you can give it a go! In the afternoon, explore the beautiful Inari - Saariselka region by ❄️ Snowmobile. 🏎️
Day 7 (B/D) - Sami Culture 🎣 Ice Fishing ✨ Glass Igloo Stay ✅ *ACTIVE* 🌌 Aurora Chase 3 (*if we have not managed to see it)
Head to Inari, a village home to the many of the native Sami. 🛖 Learn about the native Sami people's culture & way of life. Head to the Inari river & try your hand at ❄️ Ice Fishing 🎣, where we'll drill a hole through the ice & attempt to catch some fish!
After an eventful week 🤗 we end off our adventure with our last night stay in an Aurora Glass Igloo! ✨ If we've not been able to see any Aurora yet, we'll do this 3rd ✅ *ACTIVE* 🌌 Aurora Chase.
*If we've already been able to see the Aurora, we'll be able to enjoy more time at our beautiful ✨ Aurora Glass Igloo 🌌 & perhaps even see the lights again right from our Cabin if lucky!
Day 8 (B) - Return Journey to Singapore 🇸🇬

Our Aurora Chases are ✨ *ACTIVE* Chases:
✅ Use of a vehicle to drive out of light polluted areas, cover more ground VS being restricted to outside your accoms / by foot
✅ Is conducted by a local Finland / Aurora specialised guide
✅ We only organise this trip during the ideal best month: ie. March, with a good mix of decent sky conditions for Aurora, sufficient daylight time for day activities, sufficient snow for snow activities, not as cold as deep winter.
PS: That being said, we can plan for the best, but please remember we are still at the mercy of weather conditions with regards to Aurora sightings and even Snow activities.
