Day 1 - Journey to Jakarta 🇮🇩 Indonesia

Day 2 (L/D) 🦧 Orangutan River Safari 🌴 Night Walk ✨

Arrive in Kalimantan 🌴 the Amazon of Asia. Borneo is the 3rd largest Island in the World, with Kalimantan spanning covering over 70% of Borneo. Upon arriving, we'll be transferred by car to board our traditional Indonesian Houseboat, also known as a "Kelotok", where we'll spend our next 3 nights.
Enter the 🌴 Kalimantan Jungle by River as our Wildlife guide introduces us to the Rainforest and the Animals that live within. 😌 Homely Indonesian meals will be prepared by our very own Chef on Board. After lunch, we hike (30min) to our first Orangutan Camp & Feeding Station. 🥾
Watch as both Wild & Semi Wild Orangutans appear & descend from the canopy to grab some extra food to supplement their diet. 🦧 If lucky, perhaps you will also get to see some of the younger Orangutans & babies, & watch their so human like behaviour between the mothers & their children.
🌅 After the sun sets, embark on a night walk (~1hr) in the Jungle for a chance to spot some unique nocturnal life, ie. insects, spiders, sleeping birds, glowing/smoking mushrooms, tracks left by wild animals, & don't forget to look up in the sky! For some amazing stars due to the dark, remote location. 🌌
Experience your 1st out of 3 nights sleeping on the deck. ✨ Mattresses with mosquito nets, pillows and bed sheets will be set up for us! 😌 Waking up in the morning to the serenity of the Jungle is truly a wonder by itself.

Day 3 (B/L/D) 🌴 Contribute to Reforestation, Plant a Tree 🌱
Learn more about Kalimantan's struggle with Palm Oil production and deforestation. Kalimantan is a major Palm Oil production hub, accounting for nearly 40% of Palm Oil production. 🌴
Even protected areas still runs the risk of illegal logging. 🥲 With 65% of the national park still in need of recovery, join the reforestation effort & plant a tree with your name! In the afternoon, we'll visit a 2nd Orangutan Camp.
Day 4 (B/L/D) 🛶 Sampan Ride through the River
For a change, we'll do a (morning) 3rd visit to an 🦧 Orangutan Camp. In the afternoon, get closer to the river with a sampan ride (~1 - 2hrs) through some narrower / tighter creeks of the river that cannot be accessed with our Kelotok houseboat.
A refreshing change of angle and perspective, at river / eye level, after spending most of your time on the upper deck of a large houseboat.
Day 5 (B) Journey back to Singapore 🇸🇬
Cruise out of the Jungle for our Return Flights
