🐉 Here's a Day by Day overview of our Full Adventure to Komodo and what Learning How to Dive is like! 🧜🏻‍♀️

Known as the 🐉 Land of the Dragon & Manta Rays 🧜🏻‍♀️

Komodo is famous for its 🐉 Komodo Dragons, pristine beaches, exceptional diving and is one of the best places in the world for Manta Rays.

Komodo's waters are unparalleled in marine biodiversity, making it an excellent location for Scuba Diving. 🏖️

Komodo Underwater Visibility: 10 - 30 metres (How clear the Water is, How far you can see Underwater) 👀

Komodo Current & Suitability for Beginners: It's true that Komodo is also known for strong currents. However, there are basic dive sites and beginner friendly areas with mild currents suitable for beginners. Example of Beginner Friendly, Dive Sites:

Siaba Besar 🐢 "Turtle City": Calm, shallow & great for new Divers.
Sebayur Kecil: Minimal current, beautiful Coral Reefs.
Pink Beach: Great visibility, minimal current, Shallow Reef.

🤿 Ideal Dive Season: April to October is the Dry Season with the best underwater visibility and calmer waters.

🗓️ This trip is conducted within the ideal Dive season in May.

🧜🏻‍♀️ Dive Instructors will be local, professional & licensed Dive Operators in Komodo, certified by PADI or SSI.

day 1: Fly SIN > komodo Lbj

Upon landing in Labuan Bajo, we'll have a group transfer to our Hotel. 🚐

After checking in and settling down, we'll meet for dinner. 🥘 And for those who are keen, perhaps even go for a drink or two! 🍹 😁

day 2: pool session

Begin your first day of introduction to Diving in the Pool! 💦

🤿 Today you'll learn essential Diving skills and exercises in a controlled environment to get familiar with your Diving equipment.

Build confidence with your equipment in the water 🤿 and prepare for your Open Water Course Dives in the ocean. 🌊

🧜🏻‍♀️ Things you'll learn will include skills such as:

Clearing your Mask of water whilst you are underwater in case water enters
Regulating your Buoyancy and finding your balance underwater
Breathing Techniques
Handling Out-of-Air Situations

🤿 Every individual Diver is equipped with 2 Regulators (Breathing Mouthpieces), which are a safety precaution for a 2nd person to use in case of any emergency or an Out-of-Air Situation.

👌🏻 You'll also learn things like some common hand signals so you can communicate underwater. 🤿

day 3: 2 open water dives

Complete 2 course dives at 12 metres out in the open sea in Komodo. 🧜🏻‍♀️ With one Instructor in charge of maximum 4 students. 🧜🏼‍♂️ 👯‍♀️ 👯‍♀️

You'll be required to perform the skills you have learnt in the Pool but in open sea water and with new variables such as some naturally present current in the sea. 🌊

day 4: 2 Open water dives & final theory test

🌊 Same as the day before, you'll do a further 2 course dives in the open sea and perform the skills learnt.

🤿 At the end of this post, there's also an overview of what a usual Dive experience is like. ✨

Today you will also complete a multiple choice, final theory test. 📝 The last step to your PADI Open Water Diving Certification! 🙌🏻

anddd that's it! 🎉 you'll officially be a padi licensed scuba diver!! 🤿 🧜🏻‍♀️

✨ Congrats! You'll be unlocking a whole new world of exciting Diving opportunities across South East Asia 🌏 & the world that you can now look forward to! 🐠

⛵️ Exciting Diving Liveaboard Adventures, and if you do your Advanced License in future, you can even do things like Night Diving! ✨

day 5: day at leisure & return flight to singapore

☀️ Enjoy a free day in Labuan Bajo!

😴 Sleep in, get a massage, enjoy a few more drinks by the beach. 🍹 😁

We'll also look at organising an optional trip to Komodo Island to see the 🐉 Komodo Dragons.

If time permits, we'll also do the sightseeing hike at 🏔️ Padar Island for that iconic Komodo Panorama view! 🥾
